A little shining star of DPS Gandhinagar Anushuthi Lakhyani of Class III – F is progressing on a path which was travelled by great mathematicians the Aryabhatta, Bhaskaracharya and Pythagoras. After clearing 9 level of Braniobrain Abacus competition – Brainofest – 08, she was selected to represent Ahmadabad region in National Abacus Brainobrain Olympiad 2010 held in Chennai on 7th February. She has won a Gold Medal solving 75 arithmetic sums in 3 minutes. Brainobrain is one of the top institutes in the Brain Gym Industry. Braionobrain has its reach across the country with around 325 centers and even foreign countries such as U.K., Thailand, Bahrain, UAE, Poland and Kuwait spreading Abacus learning in these countries.

Two students of Delhi Public School Gandhinagar, Jayneel Chellani of Std IV – A and Yash Murjani of Std IV – C had represented Ahmadabad region in Brainobrain National Competition which was held on 18th April 2010 at Delhi.

Brainobrain Kids Academy Private Limited is an organisation that empowers young geniuses worldwide. It has been conducting Wonderkid competitions for over a decade. The competition comprises of one paper which has multiple choice questions under the areas of Mental Maths, Logical Ability, General Knowledge and Speed Typing.

We are proud to announce that Ekagra Maheshwari of class VI A has bagged First Position at State Level and Third Position at National Level in Brainobrain Wonderkid Interschool Online Competition. He has been named as the National wonderkid and has received a trophy, certificate and a cash prize worth Rs.5000.We congratulate him and extend our best wishes for his upcoming endeavours. Pidilite Industries Ltd. Had organized an INTERNATIONAL ART – CRAFT CONTEST 2008 at various levels in which a large number of schools participated.

The theme of the contest was “SAVE OUR PLANET”.

We are proud to announce that ISHIKA SHAH of class III-E performed very well in this competition. She secured first position at School Level, City Level, & Zonal Level.

She was invited to participate in the mega final round at Mumbai where 75 Winners from Zonal round and 8 Schools from outside India participated. Ishika shah again secured First position at National Level.

She has been awarded with a trophy and a cheque worth Rs. 5000/- and our & Art-Craft Teachers have been declared as winners.
